Growing up in a family of musicians, I was in contact with music pretty much from the get go of my life. I mainly learned different instruments such as clarinet, drums and guitar, starting composition was quite a late decision in my life.
I always loved adventuring in music, doing my own thing and teaching me most of the things on my own. This habit started when I began playing guitar where I never saw a teacher – to a certain degree this still counts for composition today. Composing, for me, is the ability to embrace the moment and actively express the freedom of mind.
Since my fathers work involved an orchestra it was obvious for me that my work will specialize on orchestral music. Most of my music contains orchestral elements, even though I prefer utilizing the whole symphonic range and not just parts of it.
