The film and Broadway music from the early 1950s to late 1960s, created by composers like Jule Styne, Richard Rodgers, Richard Williams, and the remarkable Sherman Brothers, has always been a major source of inspiration for me as a composer.

The music from that era exuded purity in its essence, brimming with life, joy, emotion, wit, and a complexity that profoundly resonated with my musical sensibilities. "Overture to Nothing" draws inspiration from the works of this generation and serves as my tribute to their artistry and the significant legacy they have bestowed upon us all.
