The White Messengers references the first snowfalls announcing winter and one of my favorite holidays – Christmas.
Christmas helps us, in this ever quickly moving world, to step back and genuinely enjoy the time with our family and loved ones. It also allows us to reminisce memories of the past, reminisce our childhoods. When writing The White Messengers I wanted to ensure that the music is pure, honest and sensitive – similar to what you would expect of a children’s song.
This piece can be performed both purely symphonically or with an additional childrens choir in the beginning.
